I am a huge fan of color block anything. The big, solid, contrasting colors make bold statements that always catch my eye. So when I walked into Ann Taylor Loft and found this gorgeous color block dress, I had to have it. Plus, the entire store was 40% off – I was meant to have this dress. I was first drawn to this dress by the adorable button details on the shoulders. Yet, what I ended up liking most about this dress was the fit. I wanted to wear my Jessica Simpson suede red heels so I added a matching skinny red bow belt to the dress. I actually owned this belt because it came with another dress I currently have in my closet. However, if you are looking for a skinny bow belt I found a cheap version on Amazon that is available in a ton of different colors.
I am carrying an American Eagle Outfitters wool satchel that is now sold out but I found some other cute similar purses that would have been perfect with this outfit.
