Coco and I had the pleasure of seeing Meg Cabot at Books & Books last night. She was everything you would expect her to be, charming, funny, and very entertaining. We had a blast! It was great to see several of the people attending wearing tiaras in honor of the Princess Diaries 🙂 If you have a chance to see Meg Cabot at your local bookstore don’t miss it, you’ll love meeting her in person.
I first discovered Meg Cabot’s books about 10 years ago at the public library and quickly fell in love with them. I read all of the boys series, The Boy Next Door, Boy Meets Girl and Every Boy’s Got One; and  the Queen of Babble series. I started reading mainly the adult series, but the one I really got hooked on and has a special place in my bookworm heart is the Mediator series which is more of a YA paranormal/romance. And finally after several years, Meg Cabot is releasing the next Mediator book, Remembrance, and it’s going to be an adult book! Yes! Ahhh, so many books of hers to look forward to. But right now, her most recent book  is Royal Wedding.
Royal Wedding is also an adult book based on the YA Princess Diaries. For some reason, this is the only Meg Cabot series I have not read. I’m excited about reading the Royal Wedding but a little wary because I did not read all the other Princess Diaries books. Well, we’ll definitely let you know what we think of Meg’s latest book. We’ll be making a video review of Royal Wedding as soon as we finish it 🙂
